Synopsis: After the events of Infinity War, the remaining heroes who survived Thanos' snap, try to pull one last desperate attempt to defeat Thanos and bring back the other heroes.

Pros: Avengers: Endgame is an epic close to the greatest saga of all time. The Avengers series has been with all of us for almost an entire decade and gave us everything we ever wanted as a child. It gave us the chance to see the superheroes that we grew up with on the big screen and now it has come to its thrilling finale. The main thing that Avengers: Endgame delivers the most is nostalgia. It seems that every two minutes there was an easter egg regarding one of the previous movies or the comics the movies were based off of and I loved it (I will be listing all the one I caught in this review). Of course, it was great seeing all the original Avengers team up one last time and it was also great seeing how they changed from their first adventure in 2012 to their final adventure 22 years later. Although not every hero made it, it was really nice finally getting closure. Part of what made every Marvel hero and heroine so great was their character arc. Captain America started of as a skinny guy who could barely take care of himself, to a national hero who defeated aliens, evil robots, and a crazy nazi. Tony Stark started off as a playboy millionaire who only cared about himself. Throughout the years he grows and becomes a compassionate hero, and a loving father and husband. The Russo Brothers do a excellent job creating a satisfying closing to each character's arc. Iron Man and Black Widow both sacrifice themselves for the survival of the rest of the universe. Captain America gets to have his last dance with Peggy and passes down his mantle to Falcon. The Hulk gets to enjoy the rest of his days at peace with both of his personalities. Thor finds his new purpose with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Hawkeye gets to live with his family in peace.

Cons: Although this movie gave me everything I ever wanted in a movie, there were still some plot holes. The main plot holes involved everything with the time travel heist. First, when Natasha and Clint were talking about going to Vormir, why didn't Nebula warn them about the sacrifice they were going to have to make. Instead she kept that fact a secret so that when Natasha and Clint found out about it they would be caught off guard. Another plot hole I found was the Loki aspect of this whole thing. When Cap, Iron Man, and Scott all went back to 2012 to get the Tesseract, Tony accidentally lets Loki get away with the Tesseract, so the question is, where did he go? If he never went to prison then the events of most of the next films would have never taken place. The next plot hole to address in that same scene is the Captain America vs Captain America fight. Present Cap and past Cap both got into a fight as past Cap thought present Cap was an imposter. Eventually, present Cap knocks past Cap unconscious but what happens when he wakes up? The final plot hole I would like to mention is the one regarding Tony meeting Howard Stark his father. Although it is nice that Tony finally gets to say goodbye to his father, as Howard sees his baby growing up, wouldn't that lead to him knowing about his encounter with his future son and also being aware about time travel?

Easter Eggs: Before I give my final star rating, here is a list of every easter egg I caught.

1.) Hawkeye's son's middle name is Pietro. This is also the name of Quicksilver, who died in "Age of Ultron" saving Hawkeye from a spray of bullets coming out of a machine gun

2.) Joe Russo, one of the directors of the movie, and Jim Starlin, who created Thanos, both made a cameo in the scene where Captain America leads a therapy group for survivors of the Snap

3.) Ant-Man's truck is stored in storage room 616. 616 is also the number universe the Avengers live in

4.) The armor Pepper uses to save Tony is the same armor Pepper wears in the comics when she is a superhero named, RESCUE

5.) The location of New Asgard is also where Red Skull located the Tesseract in "Captain America: The First Avenger"

6.) Professor Hulk is the name that Bruce Banner dons after he permanently becomes the Hulk with his brute strength but also Bruce's intellect. This version of Hulk is shown throughout Endgame

7.) In "Captain America: Civil War", Tony is showing his virtual reality invention and shows Tony wishing the last words he told his father were "I love you Dad. And I know you did the best you could" These exact words were uttered before Tony leaves his father.

8.) When Captain America is fighting Thanos, Thanos breaks Cap's shield which is exactly what Tony envisioned in "Avengers: Age of Ultron"

9.) Captain America was always capable of lifting Thor's hammer but didn't to preserve Thor's ego

10.) In Iron Man 3, Tony crash lands in a small little town and gets food and shelter from little boy named Harley. Harley helps Tony with his suit and defeat the Mandarin and Tony helps Harley against bullies. He never showed up in the MCU again until Tony's funeral scene where he's shown behind Scarlet Witch

11.) In the comics, when Captain America retires, Falcon becomes the new Captain America. In Endgame, a senior Steve Rogers also passes his shield and mantle down to Falcon

12.) Ever since the first Captain America movie, Steve wishes he could have had a final dance with Peggy. That dream finally gets fulfilled when he travels back in time after returning the stones to its rightful era, when he decides to stay with Peggy instead of returning back to 2023.

13.) Finally, in the end credits scene of Endgame, you can hear a clanging sound which was the same sound made when Tony made his first suit back in that prison 11 years ago

Star Rating: 9.5/10

Final Thoughts: This movie was a roller coaster of emotions and nostalgia. I got to see all of my favorite superheroes finally be at peace and I got to see one of the greatest final battles of all time. Although it did have some plot holes, Avengers: Endgame was a highly satisfying conclusion to a highly satisfying saga.
